Spring sports are in full swing and athletes throughout the county are making their mark. Each week, the Baltimore Sun will select a team of the week and 10 Howard County standout performers from that week’s action.
Here are the top picks from May 5-11.
Team of the Week
River Hill tennis: The Hawks won the Howard County Cup with 41 points to cap off a dominant regular season. Both the boys and girls teams went undefeated as River Hill continues to cement itself as one of the state’s top public-school programs.
