The U.S. Marshals Service has joined the search for a man wanted in connection with a federal drug trafficking investigation.
Kevin Tyrese Edwards, 24, faces eight criminal charges: conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and cocaine base, distribution of fentanyl, distribution of cocaine base, distribution of fentanyl, distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and distribution of cocaine base.
According to federal court documents, Edwards and his co-defendant were indicted by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia in July 2023. The criminal activity took place from January 2021 through February 2021 and between Maryland and West Virginia, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Edwards’ co-defendant has already been convicted in connection with the case, court records show.

Edwards has remained at large for nearly two years, and according to the U.S. Marshals Service, is believed to be continuing to participate in criminal activity.
Online court records show that in 2019, Edwards pleaded guilty to felony theft in Baltimore City Circuit Court. His five-year sentence was suspended, and Edwards was placed on two years’ probation. Records also show Edward violated that probation, and a warrant was issued for his arrest in March 2021.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Edwards has ties to Baltimore, western Maryland, and West Virginia.
He is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 101 pounds.
