Baltimore weather is expected to start off a bit warm on Monday before cooler temperatures arrive around midweek, returning fall weather to the picture.
Monday commuters may see some patchy fog in the morning, according to the National Weather Service, which continues to operate during the federal government shutdown. By afternoon, the sun leaps out with highs forecast to be around 80 during the day. Lows will be around 60 and some fogginess may return in the evening between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Skywatchers can view the supermoon on Monday night, the first of three expected by the end of this year. The moon will appear 30% brighter and 14% larger, according to NASA. Moonrise in Baltimore is expected around 6:20 p.m.
Tuesday is expected to be a repeat of Monday before rain moves in with an 80% chance of showers starting around 11 p.m.
Expect rain Wednesday as a cold front moves through with skies clearing by nightfall. The high will be near 71, with the overnight low falling to 48.
Sunshine is in the forecast for Thursday with a high near 64 and a low around 46.
Mostly sunny skies are expected to continue right through the coming weekend with highs in the mid-60s and lows in the 40s.
